Unown.deck

Post by Jangrafess on Sat Nov 22, 2008 1:59 pm

At league today I decided to make a deck entirely out of Unown. Smile I know it'll be rubbish and will never win a competitive game, but I've now done it and the strategy is actually rather fun!

So, here it is:

Pokémon (24):

4 Unown L
4 Unown V
4 Unown Z
2 Unown U
2 Unown H
2 Unown G
2 Unown W
1 Unown A
1 Unown B
1 Unown H

Supporters (8 ):

3 Professor Oak's Visit
2 Felicity's Drawings
3 Roseanne's Research

Stadiums (3):

3 Snowpoint Temple

Trainers (11):

4 Great Ball
1 Luxury Ball
2 Super Scoop Up
3 PokéRadar
1 Technical Machine TS-2

Energy (14):

10 Psychic
4 Call

Strategy: Now, I know it's not great and that there's not enough supporters and things in it, but I honestly don't need that many in playtesting so far (not that I've won a game, seeing as my other decks are Tyranitar and Houndoom). The basic strategy is to attack with Unown L (its pokébody, Link, allows you to use the attacks of any other Unown in play), using Unown V's attack at first, damaging them for 30 for one energy, but also doing 10 damage to each of your own bench. Then, when you need to you transfer all the damage from your own bench to the defending pokémon using Unown Z's attack. Unown W is a decent wall when it has 110HP. Unown A can be alright, but is mainly in there if I'm going to need to HEAL for any reason. Unown U is good for preventing them from damaging your bench if that's going to hurt you too much.

I dunno, rip it to pieces, but at least accept that it's also a **** of a lot of fun! Very Happy

Nope, it'd be totally pointless as you can't place damage counters on your own Unown.
